Storth Women's Institute

A little bit of background...
What is the W.I. all about?
The Women's Institute is about giving ALL women, of all ages and backgrounds, a place to share, discuss, have fun and laughter in a place of safety and at a location to make friends.

What the W.I. is NOT...
It's NOT - for women of a more mature age!
It's NOT - only about jam and Jerusalem!
It's NOT - about politics!
It's NOT - about religion!

Storth Women's Institute...
The Women's Institute was established nationally in 1915 and is based on the ideals of Fellowship, Truth, Tolerance and Justice.

Storth W.I. is also long established too, and have always been an energetic part of the village.
We pride ourselves on being a very friendly and active bunch, with a busy social calendar and a wide variety of things to do, and yes, we do like cake! We've listed some of the things we do on the right hand side of this page...

If you wish to come and socialise with us, we meet;

Every Second Wednesday of the month
in
Storth Village Hall at 7:30pm

Do come and visit - you will be made very welcome.
It's £3 per visit up to a maximum of three visits.
Better still, why not join, and come to enjoy our meetings, outings and a wide variety of events and social evenings.
